ABOUT RAMPANT LINES
A BRIEF BACKGROUND and HISTORY
Rampant Lines has provided J.H. Rose High School and the greater Greenville community with campus news since 1960. Rampant Lines is written, edited and produced by Rose’s journalism class. Students of all grade levels put many hours of hard and tedious work into each issue of Rampant Lines. Everything in Rampant Lines has been created by students, including photographs, articles and graphic work. Rampant Lines was created in 1960, although it was previously known by the name Green Lights. Over 1,000 copies of Rampant Lines are printed each issue. The publication of Rampant Lines is not funded by the school. It is independently funded through donations and ad sales. The Rampant Lines staff takes pride in continuing the tradition of publishing this top school newspaper year after year. We hope that you appreciate and enjoy reading it as well.
