A love letter to my sweet Jeep
BY COLLIN LOY ON FEBRUARY 21, 2014
We have been together since September 21, 2012. I remember the first time I laid my eyes on you. The way you sparkled. The innocence in your headlights. The way the sun gleamed on your freshly rinsed body. I knew, the second we met, that you were meant for me. You were mine, and I was yours.
I drove you for the first time and it was an experience I will hold dear forever. You made me feel free and alive. When my hands gripped your wheel and steered you around, it was almost like you responded to my thoughts. Our moves were one.
Every morning, I step into you, start you up, and turn you on. Gently, I press your buttons and play some of our favorite tunes. Your seat warmers toast up my buns in the winter. In the spring, I strip you down and feel the breeze through the windows. On summer nights, we gaze at the moon through your sunroof.
I cherish the moments we spend together, whether it’s getting dirty in the mud or freshening up together at the carwash. We fit together perfectly, and I love you.
Emma, my sweet Jeep, you are beautiful. I hope that we will ride together many more times, whether into the school parking lot or the sunset. Our love is endless, like the roads we travel.
